great price and quick shipping. Only problem is the on/off switch doesn’t work on the vacuum so I am stuck with a vacuum that is always on when plugged in and to turn it off you have to unplug it. It’s a PITA but for the price I am not going to pay for return shipping to get it corrected and or wait 3 hours on hold to speak to someone at hoover to help correct the problem. Other than the on/off switch the vacuum has amazing suction power and is real easy to push/pull over any surface and the wand attachments work great.

I’ve had a lot of fun with pedometers but this one I enjoy a lot. It gives me a variery of details such as calories burned as well as miles and/or steps taken. I’m glad to have this one as it “measures” up to my expectations, and I’m sure it will for other folks.Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer. We recently picked up the Mark III bike trailer and jogging stroller. We wanted a trailer so we could go riding as a family, and the fact that this converts between stroller and jogger without a special kit was an added bonus. The conversion is super simple: just flip out a different arm and snap in a quick-release wheel. Converts in just a couple minutes! Works great both ways. As a recreational triathlete, this is great as I can train two sports even while on parenting duty.

The unit is light, rolls well (even with 60+lb of kids in it), and has really exceeded my expectations to date. The interior is a little rough and tumble for the little ones, but neither kid has complained, and the sling seat holds them up off the bars perfectly well. There’s plenty of room inside too, for a couple toys, extra water bottle, juice boxes for the little ones, and anything else you might want to stash.

I was especially pleased that I could get all the base features I was looking for (shocks would have been nice, but honestly, do we need those?) for under $300. I had some friends who recommended other great units, but all of them were well beyond my price point. This thing is definetely worth it. A great value!

This card is a really really good deal. I went to the supermarket and they were trying to sell 2GB cards for $15. I bought this 8GB card from Amazon for my underwater digital camera, and was able to use the highest pixel settings. I could save my pics with really good resolution. My camera, which normally would have taken around 200 pictures was able to take over 600+! (I don’t actually know the maximum that my camera can hold because for my entire week long trip, I never once had to change my memory card. I felt bad for my poor friend who had to keep switching out her 2GB cards.

The price Amazon offers for this card (currently approx $25 with free shipping is totally worth it.)

Artemis Fowl is a genius. He’s also a criminal master mind. He’s also twelve. When faced with the loss of his family’s fortune, he does what anyone would do. He kidnaps a fairy commando and holds her for ransom.

This is a great book for readers of all ages. While entertaining for most older elemtary school kids, the snappy dialog and and action packed plot twists make it a great read for adults too.

I’ve been married for almost fifty years and during that time vacuuming has been a matter of pride for my wife. Over the years she always bought the highest priced big name vacs. Things are tough and when our machine broke down and we needed a new one, I came across great reviews for this Hoover, which was one of the most reasonably priced vacuum cleaners I found. I don’t think I ever saw her so satisfied with a product, she said she had to turn DOWN the suction pressure because it was so powerful.

I bought this item for the hand blender but was excited to try the chopper attachment. The first time I tried to use it the chopper attachment would not work. I quickly returned it and decided not to get a replacement. After reading about other people’s problems with this item I am glad I did.

Pros: 1) Fast connection in WiFi areas to access email and internet. 2) Portability is a big plus. 3) Downloaded apps greatly increases its utility. 4) Battery charges very fast. 5) 32GB is plenty big store music and podcasts. 6) Mic plug-in capability is nice for voice commands or recording voice memos.

Cons: 1) Device is shiny and sleek but unless you buy a shell or case for it, it is too thin and difficult to hold securely in hand. 2) Shiny stainless steel casing smudges very easily – hard to keep fingerprints off. 3) No camera. 4) Short battery life when browsing internet. 5) Onscreen keys are very small – easy to hit the wrong key. 6) Only plays vids downloaded from iTunes – can’t transfer or play non-iTunes vids.

Read by my book club, this book stimulated dicussions of issues we lived with in the 60,s and 70,s The subject of the novel is still timely and expands beyond the black/white theme. The characters are engaging and endearing. I was cheering for the heroine and able to identify with her quest.
