At first I was hesitant about reading this book. I figured that reading about a traveling circus really wouldn’t appeal to me, and I didn’t understand why it was continually being suggested to me on this website. Eventually, I gave in and bought it. I pushed it aside for months, never bothering to read it, still mostly uninterested. Finally, bored one day, I picked it up and started reading. Two pages in, I didn’t want to put it down.
The opening is clever, leading to a fantastic ending. The writing style is charming, falling in love with the main character is completely inevitable.
This is definitely on my top-ten list of novels. It is so beautifully written, I highly recommend it to anyone. It has all the mystery, love, emotion, and intrigue a novel should.
I only hope the rest of her books are as lovely.
8 5 Lying Bean

I used the Hoover SteamVac yesterday for the first time. It did not seem to dispense very much cleaner or get my carpet very clean. Then I used the stair attachment which worked OK. Today,while trying to clean another carpet I realized the cleaner release button wasn’t working at all. Everything is clicked in securely. I called Hoover. My choices: take it to be fixed (20 miles away) or mail it back to Amazon to get my money back. When I said I was going to write a bad review for the product the “Customer Service Representative” said I was threatening her. So, I’m not threatening anyone – I’m just saying: a brand new appliance should work. If it doesn’t it’s a lemon and I would not give this product even one star!

I don’t care what anyone says, the Wii is fabulous. This one was bought for my 75 year old mother. The whole extended family, from 2 year olds to 80 year olds enjoy playing Wii games. None of us are true gamers and I think many of the elitist reviews are some sort of video game snobbery. Pretty much everyone, but the 2 year old, is able to instantly play and enjoy all the Wii games. The fitness benefits are also tremendous. There are so many games available that give you a work out while you are having fun. I recommend the Wii to everyone. It is well worth the money.

I have had this all in one and have really really liked it, however it uses 460w when starting up or copying or doing just about anything and that is too much for my house wiring. We got constant light flickering and if it was printing and you ran another power hog then it would trip the breaker. Brother would not help…..it is really a shame since this unit really does everything it says and fast (the fuser takes all that power to heat up). If you have a new house then you should have no problem, I am afraid I had to return mine.

I have been using MS Office Products since they came out. This latest version is completely new in terms of menu options, short cuts, and functions available via the menu bars. I had to upgrade and I am relearning from the beginning (almost) how to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I would not recommend upgrading to this product. Plan on many many hours of learning if you do upgrade.

You know, I first tried to read this book when it first came out and it offended me. Now all these years later, I picked volumes 1 and 2 up at my local library. Still feel the same way. There are so many wonderful sacred texts to read why would anyone waste their time with this? The real clincher for me came in volume two when he is discussing sex and children. And I quote: (Page 105)

” In some societies, parents couple in full view of their offspring-and what could give children a greater sense of the beauty and the wonder and the pure joy and the total okayness of the sexual expression of love than this?”

This simply outrages me. This guy is one sick puppy.

I bought this watch because I always seem to need batteries in my other ones. I love the idea of a solar powered watch and I have been getting the time from the Atomic clock on my PC for years now….so the two together…Great idea!
I also wanted something looked good and is tough! Casio has all this and more….My only real complaint is that I just couldn’t see the numerals…they are a very anemic white against a black background and they are so small I had to get out my reading glasses to see the time….they have another model which I should have gotten instead, that has black numerals against a white background but it doesn’t look as good as this one

I finally purchased this scale after a lot of research and have been using it for 5 months now. All I have to say is this scale is accurate! Accurate meaning it gives me the same number when I step off and step on again. It arrived in perfect condition. Looks exactly like the images. Big and bright display. I cannot be more satisfied with a product. If you need a scale, this is it!

I always worried when I parked my vehicle and left the GPS on the window that someone would break in and take it. Even taking it down left a ring on the glass that advertised the presence of the GPS. Whenever I needed to take the GPS in another vehicle, it was a hassle. With this “bean bag” I just grab it off the dashboard and hide it or take it with me. It has never fallen off the dash. It is just what I wanted.
