Bought Wii for my husband who enjoys video games and thought it would promote more enthusiasm to exercise as I also purchased the Wii Fit Plus, too. He does enjoy this form of exercise.

A number of reviewers warned that this scale “adjusts” its weight to be the same as it was before, even if the true weight has shifted slightly. This makes it -look- more reliable, but it does so at the expense of accuracy. I have confirmed this to be true with experiments at home, and it drives me crazy. I am on a weight loss program, and I like to weigh daily, so tenths of a pound matter. If the scale’s goal is to mask fluctuations, it should show pounds only and not tenths. That is false precision.

Other than that, it is an attractive looking scale and feels solid.

I purchased the MacBookPro 13 inch Intel Core Duo last year. It has been a good laptop overall, but since we use lots of applications and multiple user profiles, it was really slow. I decided to upgrade to the new 15 inch Intel i5. This laptop is SO fast. Immediately, we could tell the difference on Skype: the image was at least twice as clear, no skipping and the sound quality is like the other person is in the next room. The form factor is nice: not so large, but lots more screen space than the 13 inch. Battery life is great, as good as the 13 inch if not better. If you just need the basics: Word, Excel, Mail, Browsing, Skype, this is the laptop for you. If you are serious gamer or have other special requirements, you might want to opt for the faster 15 inch or the 17 inch.

I like this card. Not too expensive for the capacity (I paid less than $22) and the transfer speed seems okay (packaging rates it at 16MB/s). I bought it to add some music to my Garmin Nuvi 750 GPS and it works great for that after a one-day test. Some cards claim much faster transfer rates, so I gave it 4 stars. It took me several minutes to load a bit over 1 Gig of MP3s using the card slot in my notebook. I don’t really have anything to compare that to, so you be the judge. The Garmin accepted everything without any format hassles–it just worked. The packaging was a joy, came in a little reusable plastic case suitable for storage when not in the device. Recommended.

I bought this pedometer for my mother who has since taken up walking long distances. This is an excellent pedometer but make sure you correctly measure your stride distance before putting it to use. I found that if your measurements are off – so is the pedometer’s way of counting your steps. I guess it’s good that it’s so sensitive and precise. The extra choice of clipping the pedometer to you is better than only having the option of placing it on your belt.
