This pedometer exceeded my expectations. It is recommended by Consumer Reports. I also noticed on Amazon that this one has 2,754 customer ratings, as well, with 2,100 five-star ratings and 452 four-star ratings.

Benefits of the Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer:

1. May be worn on the waste band/hip/belt, in a purse, in a pocket, sideways, upside down, etc.
2. Two clips–holder and strap–which reduces the chance of dropping it on the ground or losing it. I always use both clips.
3. Automatically changes to a new day at 12:01am.
4. Stores seven days of steps, miles, calories, and aerobic activity.
5. Automatically tracks aerobic activity.
6. Large display.

You won’t be disappointed with the accuracy of this product. I put it on when I get out of bed, and I keep it on until I go back to bed (except for showers, of course)! Health research shows that walking 10,000 steps per day (approximately five miles) improves health and burns 2000 to 3500 extra calories per week. For those who want to lose weight and keep it off, they recommend 12,000 to 15,000 steps per day. And, the challenge is “per day,” not 70,000 steps per week–:)–so this pedometer really does help us stay on track each day.

I’m glad I saved this to DVD years ago when it ran on a pay channel. It’s one of my top favorites and truly a cult favorite. While the entire movie takes place in one scene, it’s the dialogue that pulls you in and makes you a part of it. This is a great character study and very well done by the actresses. I give this the highest star possible.

I wish they would put this and other classics on DVD and stop putting out crap from the 2000 era for the non-generation that only appreciates reality TV. Let’s see something worth purchasing on DVD versus paying for overprice cable TV with nothing but commercials and lousy programs.

I can honestly say that this book just plays to anyone who is weak and searching for something to absolve them of their own guilt. TO say that God doesn’t care what you do or how you live your life, is so absurd that only idiots would believe that. IF you are a christian then you should know that the Devil will lie and he knows the bible as good as the Lord himself. To me this is just another way to corrupt our youth and conflicted and floundering Christians. It isn’t a shock that Oprah endorses this. Look at her connections. Isn’t it convenient that she is behind Obama 100%? I hope that he doesn’t listen to her in areas of spirituality or our whole country will be in peril. If you are truly looking for a good book to read read ” In the grip of grace” by Max Lucado.
Take Back Higher Education

The Wii really does get you off the couch, if that is what you want. It was easy to set up and we have been having a blast with it.
