Emergency Tool Bike Gear beta
The Defender is a great product and offers a much higher level of protection than any other case I’ve seen, but it’s not foolproof. I have probably dropped my iphone about 20 times since got it in Nov. However, on Christmas eve I had it laying in my lap and stood up. My iphone dropped to the tile floor and when I picked it up the LCD screen was white with blue and red lines running the length of the screen on the right side. I took it to a repair shop and had to have the screen replaced. I too have the oil slick issue but its not a big deal to me. The biggest problem is the reason that I have dropped it so much is that every time I have it in the belt clip and happen to bump the belt clip even with my arm or hand the phone will fall out of the clip. Since the screen replacement and the belt clip issue I just carry it in my pocket. I work construction and have pretty much ruined or broken every phone I’ve had, but thought that this case would maybe help this one survive. Sorry folks but the jury is still out.

Mad about 1 Bike 1200 Planet
I’m a fan of planet bike products but not this one! The rear light fell off the clamp that attaches it to the post the second time out. The front light doesn’t blink so it goes through batteries faster. I had to change the batteries while out one night. I hadn’t screwed the cover on tight enough. It fell off and broke in pieces. And I bought it a month ago!!!!!

This bathroom scale is well designed, works reliably, and is pleasant to look at. It shows weight in increments of 0.2 pounds and is probably much more precise than that because I found it to be 100% repeatable. I believe it to be about ten times more precise and more repeatable than older spring-type scales. And the weight reading does not fluctuate when one shifts one’s weight around while standing on the scale. That is a huge advantage over the spring-type models – some of which would show several pounds of deviation when one shifted weight while standing on the scale. Once you have seen the EatSmart Precision Digital scale in operation, you will want to own one.
I find it interesting to measure body weight with 0.2 lbs precision and to observe changes in weight over days or weeks, and even at different hours of the same day. That helps follow one’s weight control regimen. Amazingly, it even motivates me to control my weight because I can see the effects promptly and conveniently. This newer model does not require “tapping” the scale before a measurement – as the older model did. Instead, there is nothing to prepare – just step on it and the weight shows up within seconds.
It seems that this scale does more than measure and display weight digitally instead of mechanically as the older style scales did. Rather, the amazing stability of the reading – regardless of how one shifts one’s weight around while standing on the scale – suggests that the designers measure the weight at several points – probably four – and display the sum of the readings from the different measuring points. I do not know if that is precisely how they do it – but it is clear that their approach is sensible and, most importantly, performs outstandingly.
In some: 5 stars for design, 5 stars for performance, and 5 stars for appearance of the scale.
The seller, too, gets 5 stars for packaging, shipping, and timeliness.

Bike Giro Helmet Saros result
Enviable writing. Remarkably well written story with some of the best character development I’ve seen in ages. You will be sucked into this book and be left wanting more when the story comes to an end.

Bike Planet Board Grunge test
Received this item loose but in a typical plastic clam shell. Since it was not manufacutre sealed I have no way of knowing if this was simply re-pacakged. I used card on my H4n Zoom and it recorded sound just fine. However, I also used the card on my Canon Vixia HS10 and as well as on a Canon T2i with deterimental results. There was no indication that the card was not recording but when replaying video, somehow the recodrings came back corrupted. It seems like the card was not fast enough to capture HD footage, but this is just speculation.
The footage was important, and therefore I was upset to notice it unrecoverable. Not happy with card or purchase and will most likely throw it away.
Sad part is, it wasn’t that much cheaper than buying from a physical store…

Gore Bike 2010 Wear problem!
This cable is the real thing in terms of quality, construction and durability. The other cheaper cables fell apart while this one keeps strong! I use it every day in a classroom and I love it. Highly recommend!

Think of Rodeo Youth Giro Bike ?
I love that this helmet adjusts for a custom fit. I bought it for my six year old an dit fits well. She loves it and I don’t know how we got by using a lesser brand item for so long.

4 Bike BigHorn Yakima change
We ride bikes several times per week. I say we meaning my me and my kids. So I carry 2-3 bikes on this several times per week. There are problems with heavy use. First of all, the pin that lets the rack fold down is 3/8 inch. Mine actually bent from running on the highway with 2-3 bikes. I drilled it out and put a 1/2 pin. Also, I didn’t trust the threaded hitch pin that comes with the rack, it is also 3/8 inch and all that force is on the threads. If they break, by by rack. So I drilled it out to 1/2, used a regular class 2 1/2 pin and a product called a hich vise. $35 for the hitch vise, but the system works much better and is more stable. Finally, the sytem holds the bikes with flexible plastic pieces which slide on 1 1/4″ metal poles. They hold the bikes well, but they also slide on the poles resulting in bikes ending up touching and rubbing paint off each other. Since I have no idea how anyone could fit four bikes on this rack, I went with mounts for three. You can remove a screw on the end of each pole, take the end cap off and slide off or on the pieces that hold the bikes on. I took one set off and then cut 1 1/4 inch PVC pipe to keep the other three sets equal distance from each other. This is dirt cheap and works extremely well, the bikes stay put on the poles and don’t touch each other. Lots of modifications for this rack but it works well now. I think I would buy a more expensive one in the future but there aren’t many choices if you need 1 1/4 and all I have ia a class 2 hitch so I can’t use a 2 inch hitch.
