I had gotten this as an audio book and loved hearing the “old” and “young” Jacob’s different voices. It really brought the book alive. So when looking for a gift for my daughter-in-law, this was one of the books I bought for her. What a life this man lead, and the method by which it is told going back and forth through the years was well done!

I liked this book. One reason is that there is a ton of high-tech things that the fairies use. Another is that the fairies are different from the creatures you read about in fairy tales. Also it was funny at times as well. The centaur named Foaly had a pretty good sense of humor at most times. It also had a lot of action in it as well.
There were, however, also a few things I did not like. One was people’s language at times, like that one commander who said, “Blow the door off its **** hinges.” There were a few other times people swore too. That was almost about the only thing I did not like about the book though.
In this book I did not really have a favorite part. I liked just about all of them. Altogether, it was a very good book.

This is clearly a teen book and not aimed at adults, but I discovered it on a list of books for “those who were going through Harry Potter withdrawals.”

It isn’t Harry Potter by any stretch of the imagination. And it isn’t perfect. But it is very readable and with the exception of the over-the-top dwarf character (Mulch Diggums) it is constructed well enough that the story is fun and surprising.

I’ve read through the third book now and have ordered the fourth. They are not great works of art, but certainly readable and worth buying.

I like the design of this case – it provides space for a spare memory card and battery. I also like the wrist strap. I’m accustomed to using a hard shell case, but so far I have no complaints about this soft case.

I really disliked the windshield mount for the GPS. I didn’t want to risk it falling down, and I’ve heard they sometimes leave marks on the windshield that attract thieves – neither are issues I wanted to deal with. This mount is really great. It stows away well, and works perfectly in use. It’s really simple to use.

I bought this case for my Polaroid i1036 and it fits fine. Definitely worth it for the price

I bought this for my PowerShot SD780 IS to provide protection for the camera while in my pocket. Although the case does seem to provide decent protection for the camera, this case is much to large to put in any pocket. This my not be a problem for some other models of cameras, but I bought this model because it is pocketable.

I bought this carry case for the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W230 I purchased as a Christmas gift for my 16 year old daughter. It will be perfect for her to take her camera with her when she goes to Paris for Spring Break. It’s light weight and will fit nicely in any bag she is carrying.

I bought this to replace a horrid little dirt devil upright. Because it was for our vacation property I didnt want to spend as much a I did for the vaccum that I bought for the main house which is also a hoover and also very good. [...]

I looked on consumer reports before buying and chose this one because of how high it ranked. I was a little nervous at first because of how light it felt, but it really seemed to bring my carpet back to life after the first use. I have only had it for a few weeks so I am not sure of the belt issue, but I figure I can afford to fix a belt every now and then for the price I paid for this vacuum. Oh, I almost forgot.. I have two dogs and a cat; it tackles the pet hair and stray litter with no problem at all. Not to mention that this is the desert dust.

Great buy, I highly recommend it!

Good lens with cheap price!. The image captured is pretty sharp. I don’t have a L lens so I can’t compare to 70-200, however, I don’t use this long range very often, and 55-250 is good enough for me.
