Just as it says: good price and quality product. Shipping was faster than expected also, but that is not a product issue.

At almost 20 ounces, this is a weighty accessory! Further, the GPS attachement “wand” needs to be removed so that it will pack flat.
We actually bought this mount (our second) to keep at the home of a relative we often visit (by air and then rent a car) so that we didn’t have to travel with it.
It is a significant improvement to the included suction cup. It stays fast to the dash board but can easily be moved to the driver or passenger. We have never had it slide off from a fast turn or stop. It is infinitely adjustable. The GPS can be quickly “unsnapped” from the mount.
We recommend it, especially if it remains in your car.

The first unit I received had an issue with the brushes not spinning. I checked everything out the manual said to (verified strong suction, clean filters, etc.) but no dice. Fortunately, Amazon makes exchanges painless and doesn’t stick you with the return shipping charge which would have been hefty on this item.
The replacement unit arrived a few days later. I put it together, turned it on, and hooray this time the brushes were spinning! Then we tried actually using it and found barely any cleaning solution was coming out. If I took off the handle and pushed the lever on the main unit in manually, fluid came out just fine so there seemed to be something wrong with the button on the handle. The rod that operates the lever to release the cleaning fluid worked fine when I operated the button, but as soon as I put any pressure onto the rod it would push back up into the handle. Since it takes a fair amount of pressure to get fluid flowing, this was the problem. Fortunately, this was a pretty easy DIY fix by opening up the handle and shoring up the other end of the rod with some duct tape.
At this point, I finally had a fully functioning unit. It does a great job picking up old stains and the carpet felt nice and soft afterward. The brushes do a good job and make plenty of contact with the carpet. The method suggested in the manual of doing a wet stroke back, a wet stroke forward, and then two dry stores back and forwards works well but chews up the fluid quickly. I found just keeping it simple and doing a wet stroke back and then a dry stroke forward worked equally well in most cases and lets your fluid last twice as long.
All in all, this unit works fine but I’m a little frustrated that I had to deal with two units with very basic defects. If Hoover did any kind of QA on these units they wouldn’t have made it out of the factory, so I really wonder if they actually do any QA. Fortunately, Amazon is on board to help makes things right, as always.

Is Professional Super HD 18x suck?
My daughter’s multiple readings of the “Conversations with God” series was and is a major component and ally in what will definitely be her life-long struggle to “not pick up” drugs or alcohol. Who knows what may happen next but she has been sober for four years, and the series has visibly more than once rescued and maintained her sobriety. There will always be a copy for her in my house. She often gives hers to addicts she feels are trying to stop their habits.
I have a little problem with some of the author’s statements and wonder if sometimes he confused his own thoughts with statements from his conversations. For what the series has done for my daughter, however, this “minor disagreement” does not matter at all.

Stephenie Meyer did a good job capturing her audience and finding the right people to target the book’s market. I can see how the younger crowd flocked to this book — the idea of love is fresh and new for them now. Bella’s character was exasperating, her clumsiness is unreal. And how is it sexy to kiss a cold dead body? I did love the way Edward felt a call to protect her — most women want that, or I do, at least. People who like this book would really like Renee Mincey’s “Love of Pure Evil”, even though Ms. Mincey’s book may be for a more mature crowd.

When I was in high school, and that was many years ago, I clearly remember our literature teacher having problems with classifying this book to any genre. We had to read it, and most of the classmates grumbled. Yet, most of the classmates were girls, I should mention, and they were infatuated with a book called `Cry, The beloved country’. So we were kind of divided, we, the boys, preferred Holden, even though we found him harsh to read, never to admit it, because we just did not want to discuss the book which the girls liked. Anyway, I still do not think that `The Catcher in the Rye’ belongs to any kind of literature that deserves to be taught in high schools, because this book is disturbingly one of a kind. Nevertheless, after all these years I read it again, and I have discovered that it does have a genre, perhaps not an acceptable one, but it does belong to a certain category. I would put it under the category of `Revolutions’. At first the reader is kind of recoiled by the persistent complaints exclaimed by the hero. Today, I could compare it to a diary of any ordinary self absorbed profoundly disturbed Scandinavian urchin. But Holden, despite of being the most antagonizing protagonist I have ever read about, is not the seemingly anarchist type. Despite his anarchistic tendencies, Holden is a rebel with a dream; a vision even. Unlike the ordinary post traumatic stress disordered and self absorbed Scandinavian urchin one may confuse him with, Holden is actually dreaming about saving the world. The children that he wanted to catch and save from death in the rye field are the children of the future. Salinger, through Holden is the real dreamer; Aye, Salinger the author is clearly the real rebel, and it does not surprise me it was such a success in the sixties and seventies. The spirit of revolutions blew in the air then, and some of the warnings Holden talk about is of the dangers of becoming corrupt. I believe that if Salinger tried to publish this book today, it

My EatSmart scale performs FLAWLESSLY. I suppose it’s possible that there’s some level of variation in the performance of the “tap on” feature, but even if you merely “bump” my particular unit, even on its side or edge, it turns on – all the time, EVERY time. In fact, I’ve GENTLY bumped it several times while vacuuming, and it turns on – instantly.
As for accuracy, I used the scale shortly after its arrival, ten times in the space of about an hour. EVERY measure was IDENTICAL. As for the skeptics who attempt to claim that the scale has a built-in “memory” that “assures” identical results – I’ve actually weighed myself with a ten pound exercise weight. You guessed it – it adds ten pounds to my weight. 30 minutes later, I weigh myself again. Once again, you guessed it – I’m exactly ten pounds lighter.
It’s so well-built that I can hardly believe its LOW PRICE. And, cosmetically, I don’t think you can find a nicer machine.
On my recommendation, a good friend bought the same scale a coupld weeks ago. His results duplicate mine.
I’m happy to highly recommend the EatSmart scale!

I am not a teenager, and I like the story. I think if you take it too much seriously, there are a lot of problematic issues here, but I think is just a story “fiction”, so, I think for that is good. We cannot compare the relationship of Bella and Edward with a “human” relationship because this is “fiction”, and vampires do not exist (as much as I know), so we don’t know how a relationship would be between them, or between them and humans. Therefore, there is plenty of space here for fiction. We don’t know how weird Edward really is, there is no point for comparison. Also, we don’t know how weird Bella’s behavior is, because none of us has met a vampire before. So, if you want to relax, forget about daily routine, and experience romance and some suspense, this is good option.
