Review about 20mm f Nikon 2

This is an excellent lens for landscape photography, other travel photography, and perhaps even interior photography, if you need to cover a wide area. This 20mm Nikkor is a relatively old design, dating at least twenty-odd years, but it is still a capable performance with fine contrast and resolution. Without question, it is a fine lens for both digital and film photography. If I was still using Nikon equipment, I wouldn’t hesitate adding this lens to my kit.

Do you really love HB Nikon Bayonet 47 ?

I purchased the Hoover SteamVac after reading so many great reviews about it.
It was pretty easy to setup and it seems to clean well. The thing I like the most about it is that the carpet is not too wet after using it. It dries very quickly unlike other carpet cleaners. In less than 2 hours the carpet is completely dry.

Now here is the strange part. I used the steamvac twice in the same week and during that week I was simply moving the steamvac to put it into a closet and the tab that connects to the release lever to hold the cleaner upright snapped off. I could not believe it. I was very careful with the SteamVac so I just can’t figure out why it broke so easily. In case you are wondering, I do alot of handy work around the house and work with alot of tools. So I’m not your typical do it yourself dummy. The unfortunate part is that the plastic part that broke is actually part of the entire steamvac body. It is not the release lever which would have been easy to replace. So now I have to return the entire steamvac to Amazon for a replacement. Because of the great reviews and nobody else mentioning this problem, I am assuming it was just a fluke thing and a defective unit. If not for the reviews, I would think this would just happen again because it happened so quickly and also because I was being so gentle with the machine. I will post again after I receive the replacement. I was loving the machine until this part broke. It was very disappointing but hopefully will be resolved with a new unit.

Get DX 35mm f1.8G AF-S Nikon now

Great standard lens on DX cameras. Fast prime lenses outperform any zoom.

I have Always used a standard lens on my film cameras and needed one that would auto focus on my D60 and D40. My 50mm 1.8 and 1.4 lenses work fine but Nikon 35mm f1.8G AF-S DX took me a while to learn manual focusing on these cameras with them (a katzeye focusing screen REALLY helped in this regard…). With the crop factor on these cameras I was missing the 50mm view because the 50mm lenes translate to 75mm or so. This lens fits the bill perfectly. Now I have a 50mm view from my DX format cameras.

This lens is really sharp and contrasty. The only weakness here is that there is some noticeable barrel distortion with this lens but if you use Nikon capture NX2 software it will automatically remove it based on the focal length.

This lens stays on my camera almost all the time and is definitely worth the price of $199.00. The gauging by some distributers who are trying to sell this lens for $349.00 is disappointing! Pre-order the lens and wait. This type of behavior by sellers is not to be rewarded! It took about 2 months to get this lens and my only guess is that demand is higher than supply right now.

BUY IT! You will not be sorry.
