Book arrived in the condition I ordered it in, way before the date it was ‘expected to arrive by’.
Hard Shell GPS Case

I had some problems installing this, had to be done twice. I wish it would integrate or replace my Microsoft Office 2003 but instead I seem to have both on my computer so when I open an old document, it’s opened with ‘03 and sometimes I accidentally open the old Word. I wish I just had ONE Word so things didn’t get confused like this. Could be doing something wrong, but it should be easier than this, it’s not like I never use computers, I’ve been using Microsoft and Word for at least 15 years.

Other than that, I didn’t like the tool bar change from 2003 to 2007 that took a lot of getting used to and still have to spend some effort finding somethings. With use, as with everything, it gets easier. And all in all it is fine, it’s not like I would go back to only using 2003.
Nylon Hard Shell Carrying

A great book for learning shell scripting. It starts out with general syntax but then the rest of the book in filled with micro examples of things you need to write scripts, like input, output, prompting, changing case, manipulating strings, parsing and extracting data, finding file sizes, checking free space, setting screen echo on/off, read with a timeout, text substitution, doing math, here files, etc. There are also sections on portability, debugging, and common problems. I am very happy with this book and use it often when I am scripting.

this item was purchased as a gift. The ipod works great and gets plenty of use. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a digital storage unit for its large capacity for music,video and pictures.

I read this first when I was 17 and was assigned it in high school, and again just now when I am 53. This truly is a great book. But it should not be assigned to kids to read in high school. The assumption is that because it is about a teenager they will somehow empathize with Holden Caufield, and so be introduced to great literature. But I don’t think that kids that age have the level of self-awareness necessary to appreciate what Holden is going through. It’s the kind of thing you have to look back on to get. Certainly that is the experience of Holden himself. He has no appreciation of the events that are transforming him and only a dim understanding that he might be receiving useful advice along the way. So I expect it is the same with many of the kids who are forced to read this in high school. Wait until you are well past the experience, and I think you will appreciate this book a lot more.
