I planed to use this scale to track the quantity of milk our baby takes every time. Obviously, this scale can not do the job. I did a experiment by feeding the baby with a bottle containing 4 Oz milk. However the scale showed no difference before and after the feed. So I won’t call it precision digital scale. I do not recommend if you have the similar purpose. I have pursued tons of products from Amazon, but this is the second time I write a feedback. There were products I do not like. But not like this one, I feel I am fooled.

Of course, it is still a good scale if you do not care about the precision aspect. It is very convenient to use after all.

In need of reading material for my long flight home from India, I picked this up at the Bangalore airport. You’d think that I would have been much too tired to read, but this was such an engrossing read that I managed to finish the whole book well before landing in SFO! An entertaining, funny, and relatively quick read, I can see this getting turned into a movie someday.

Since I have never received the book to read it is hard for me to review it. I would either like the book or my money back.

Is it even possible to have a conversation with God, in the same everyday sense that we can have a conversation with another person? Neale Donald Walsch doesn’t claim to have literally heard the voice of God, but he claims that God spoke to him nonetheless, and that he has simply transcribed God’s words.* I don’t think I’m the right person to take a position on Walsch’s claim but I will say that he offers a beautiful and compelling vision of reality and our creative power. His book inspires the excitement and the feeling of recognition that we experience when encountering a deep insight or truth. Readers might find passages in Conversations with God, attributed to God, that sound more like Walsch. But maybe those passages reflect Walsch’s limitations, or the reader’s limitations in understanding them.

In the book, we are told that God encompasses all things, including us. God created us – a part of Himself – so He could experience Himself. A thing can only be experienced in relation to what it is not, and we find both good and bad in the world. But we are urged not to condemn what we call bad in the world. Rather, when we encounter conditions that are inconsistent with what we are or what we want to be, we need to take responsibility for them and ultimately change them through our creative power.

The discussion of this – the creative power that we share with God – is the most compelling part of the book. We are told that the creative process begins with thought, becomes more concrete through speech, and more concrete still through action. When we recognize our power to create, we recognize that we are responsible for what exists. This is obviously true on one level: “things are what you make of them” is a commonplace. We have all seen people live up to our high expectations or be dragged down by low ones. At first I was not to sure about buying any Ereader because I am a very picky person when it comes to books. I felt by buying the Kindle, Sony Ereader or the Nook that I would be stuck with books I did not like since you can not return Ebooks. Well I finally decided to try to the Kindle and it is my bestfriend!!! I seriously do not put this thing down at all! I am always on it reading, searching the web or learning something new to do on it. I love it!!!!! I don’t think I’ve ever loved a gadget as much as I do the Kindle! I just feel bad because soon books wont need to be printed!

The Garmin Portable Friction mount was recommended to us and we are very happy with it. It sits on the dash and does not move at all. It can be put in the console so that no one can see that we own a GPS. It is stable, strong and we are very happy with it. And…. it is much cheaper on Amazon than other sites.

When a person says that God inspired them or told them something the first question that should come to your mind is which God? The God of the Bible? Don’t think so as it contradicts many of the ways and teachings that that God revealed through others. Perhaps it is the God of this world, Satan? He is a good candidate since he likes to contradict the God of the Bible. And then there is the God of Islam, and the gods of hindu and the gods of shinto and so on and so on. And there are religions that say you are a God so then this is just a book about the author expressing his own opinion and since he makes some claims that are scientifically false, perhaps this is the God he is really talking to.
